This is the start of something new and exciting. There is a season gone by and now we are in a new season of change, transition from the old ways of doing things to the new way which requires an adjustment of thinking and belief. Old ways and habits have to go as we learn to take on the new path which lies ahead for us.
Going into fresh new virgin territory which involves trying out new ways of doing things we find ourselves searching through very different ideas than what we have understood before to be what is generally understood and accepted as the norm. Can we therefore shake of the old ways and learn from the past without getting ourselves stuck and hemmed in by the past? The future calls to us and beckons a response from us.
Are we ready to go forward? In the book of Hebrews chapter 11, there are many examples of men and women of Faith that did not shrink back from the task which lay ahead of them. Their very lives depended on it.
I ask myself, Why Paphos? Why this little island in the Eastern Med. Many changes are happening, and from this one apostolic hub many new apostolic hubs will be be formed, new house churches, business ideas, faith, multiplication, becoming a catalyst for change worldwide. Get ready!
Have I not commanded you, be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid. Do not be discouraged. For the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
