Thy People Shall be Willing in the Day of Thy Power!

I was reminded of what this last week meant to me in spiritual terms of just what was accomplished by both those who were in Wales with boots on the ground and all those others who were interceding throughout the week on their behalf. Prayers of intercession were offered before, during and after the time in Wales to agree that everything went to plan that God had orchestrated and fashioned by His Mighty hand so that breakthrough for Revival would begin to become strong once again as a little team of us from the little Island of Cyprus, nothing special, but bound by our love for one another and for the people of Wales, engaged in fellowship and in ministry with others there in Wales in the power of the Holy Spirit to see lives changed and surrendered to Jesus Christ.
Nothing gets done without Prayer. The key to doing anything in the Kingdom if God lies in Prayer. We have begun to realize as we wait upon the Lord in intercession and also by being empowered for service and given a strategy to know what to do on a daily basis that we are no longer doing anything in the natural real but are being led constantly by the Holy Spirit from Heavens vantage point.
As we gathered together as one team, weak in ourselves but strong in the Lord, we were sent out on various assignments where other people were deeply touched by God, people where taken out of religious institutions and were being set free from spiritual forces of darkness which up until that time had kept the people weighed down and paralyzed. The difference between spirituality which can include anything that can be worshipped and the Holy Spirit having full control and flowing through God’s people, couldn’t be more obvious. When we moved out as a team to minister we saw salvations, healings, deliverance, the miraculous, words of knowledge and wisdom, prophesy, tongues and discernment, all happening in our midst to the Glory of God. It all became so easy because it was not us in our own strength, but He, Jesus Christ working through us by His Holy Spirit. What we did was witnessed by others and new born babies were brought into the Kingdom of God. This produced a hunger in others to want to know more about the Kingdom of God and how to know the Lord in a deeper way.
I believe that all those who really want and desire more will be truly changed and that there will be a dramatic increase in multiplication of small groups across Wales, the U.K., and many other places around the World where 5 fold Ministry teams will be raised up within these groups as what we have shown by example will become a catalyst to show the way forward for others to follow. We are moving out into virgin new territory. The old wine skins of doing things is being taken away. An army of God’s people is arising across the World as the Apostolic Mandate to go out and reach the lost and make disciples increases.
We are on the cutting edge and the Glory and Favor of God is being shown to us as we minister to Christians and non-Christians alike in homes, market places, or on the streets of villages, towns and cities. I really can’t put it into words all that God has shown me in full detail of what God has been doing in the lives of each one of us this past week. Basically, as we die to ourselves and our own ambitions and ways of doing things, and our weakness is all that is left, this gives opportunity to the Holy Spirit working mightily through us despite our weakness. Each of the team experienced something of this same sense of inadequacy in ones own strength and the need to fully surrender to the Lord this past week. What seemed unimaginable before was made clear and open so that God’s timing prevailed and off came our old wineskins and much favor came to us as we were doing His Will this past week. More importantly, we must never lose sight of the fact that He is our first Love and we must desire Him first beyond anything else.
Thy People shall be willing in the Day of Thy Power, in the beauties of Holiness for the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.
Psalm 110:1 (KJV)
He said to me, “My Grace is sufficient for you, for My Power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s Power may rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)
